A wonderful 'no faults' stay in Sienna. From the time we arrived to leaving, the hospitality has been amazing. The cottage has everything you need for a relaxing holiday. Location allows you to do as much or as little as you want to do. The decor, furniture, fixings, etc are all of an incredible standard. To be honest, I don't think there is anything you could improve. We will definitely be back, hopefully in the warmer months with family joining in the other cottages.

Cassie and Alister Jennings ,

We have had an excellent short break. The cottage is beautiful, and decorated and equipped to a very high standard. Layout has worked well for our daughter's wheelchair. Good base for exploring North Devon and Cornwall. Will definitely recommend to family and friends and hope to revisit ourselves.

Faye, Charles & Elspeth Austin,

We have really enjoyed our holiday. Accommodation was warm, modern and clean and the log fire was fabulous. Also the use of the plunge pool was a bonus as the weather was great! The hosts were great and welcomed our dogs as well as us. Thank you Belinda and Rob.

Ian & Babs Holden,

We have stayed in many cottages before and usually the description has been disappointing when we arrived but not Gallery Cottages!!! We must say that Sienna and hosts at Gallery Cottages have been absolutely amazing and we have booked for two weeks next year already. The beds, the quality of the fittings, the bathroom and the general open plan of the property has made it so much easier for one of our party who is a wheelchair user. The general position of Gallery Cottages allows access to many beaches easily, far enough away from the tourism but close enough to drive to within 20 minutes. We will be recommending Gallery Cottages to many of our friends. See you again next year. Thanks again.

Karen Fields ,

We have had such a lovely week, we would like to thank Belinda and Rob for their kind hospitality. Everything here was lovely, clean and we have enjoyed every minute! Would highly recommend! Thanks again!

Katie Sanders,

Fabulous!! What a beautiful cottage, we have absolutely loved it here. Tyler loves the pool (we might have one at home now!). Loved the small touches such as cream tea on arrival, hand soap, tea towels, dishwasher tablets, etc - very handy. Hosts are fabulous, very friendly and, of course, the lovely Holly. Very impressed with Rob's paintings - need to do a painting session on our next visit. Thank you for making our week so lovely.

Jackie and Paul Forrester,

We have had an amazing time. The cottage was perfect for us, modern, spacious and clean. The beds were so comfortable. All the touches such as scones, games and all you need added to it. The children loved the pool and all in such beautiful setting. Thank you.

Lynsey Salmosi,

Lovely well presented accommodation providing all the amenities you need. Warm and welcoming hosts. Can't find fault with anything, just wish we'd have had better weather to make the most of the beautiful coastline and other attractions. Thank you so much Belinda, Rob and Holly. You should be proud of your beautiful place! Thanks again.

Mr & Mrs Baldwin, Mr & Mrs Dean,

Thank you for your hospitality. Everything was perfect! Very clean, loved the pool area and stunning views. Agatha loved the pool. All the little extras were appreciated like books, games and kitchen equipment. The welcome afternoon tea also a lovely idea. I would highly recommend for all age groups. You are very good at what you do. Thanks again.

Suzanne Wordley,

Thank you so much for a fantastic break. The cottages are so incredibly spick and span and so well equipped, and the cream tea on arrival and brownies on departure were wonderful touches. We would love to return and will be recommending you left, right and centre including on! Thank you again for a wonderful break. The girls loved the pool - a great addition.

Daisy, Ryan, Alice and Grace,

This is a lovely peaceful location. Sienna is well fitted out and beautifully decorated. We had a great welcome and were able to switch off and relax. A proper holiday. Thank you.

Sharon Evans,

We have thoroughly enjoyed our stay and were made to feel extremely welcome. Bob's loved it too! Cottages are 5 star and have everything you possibly need. Folders are very helpful, so were yourselves. Pool area is very relaxing and a real bonus. Everywhere is very clean and tidy, just how we like things. Really looking forward to visiting again. Thank you!
[Holly is missing Bob already! R&B]

Nikki Mackay,

A super place to relax and unwind. The cottage was so comfortable and had everything we could wish for. A dog safe and friendly environment. It's been a pleasure to stay here. Superb hosts. Many thanks, Jennifer, Robert, Musket, Fife and Drum.
P.S. We will return.

Jennifer and Robert Banks,

What a wonderful stay! We absolutely loved our time here. The cottage was so well equipped and we felt so comfortable staying here. The plunge pool was an added bonus that we all enjoyed especially with the beautiful weather we had. Your welcome scones were delicious and parting cookies equally as yummy. We all can't wait to come back again. Thanks for making our stay so enjoyable, all your recommendations were fabulous! Please put us on your waiting list as we may very well be in England this summer if international travel does not open up. Thanks again for your help with Paisley.

Lori Roberts,

Very spacious and comfortable. All amenities were catered for. Good beds! We enjoyed the quiet rural setting. The hosts were very welcoming and were helpful to our particular needs.

Brendan and Anita Cleverly,

Lovely. Nice space. Lovely beds. Excellent shower. Great enclosed garden. With UK weather a hot tub would be more used! Only critic is the bedside table too small and in second bedroom nowhere to put anything, need a slim shelf or table or a deeper bedside with drawers/ corner unit/ narrow chest for second bedroom?? Gallery and workshops and excellent addition. Thanks for being such good hosts and a lovely touch was the gift to take home and cream tea on arrival and being so doggy friendly. Thank you x. Dog tags - very good idea!

Nicola Desmond,

We have thoroughly enjoyed our stay in your lovely cottage. Despite unpromising weather, we've been out on coastal explorations every day and not been drenched! Really well appointed here, so much to see and much walking to be done. We've loved doing yoga on the lawn in the mornings too! An extremely welcome break after a long and strange year at home! We will be back!! The cream teas were very welcome too.
P.S. Holly is adorable and the homemade chocs were delicious and a lovely personal touch. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Alex and Liz Ward,

We had a lovely peaceful stay at Sienna, just what we needed. The house was wonderfully equipped with everything we could need. I only wish it could have been warmer so we could have used the outdoor space more, it's a beautiful location and we will definitely be back.

Jen Mockridge,

Great stay, very well equipped, you've thought of everything! The scones were a lovely touch. Will definitely recommend to friends and family. Thanks, Hayley, Simon, Rex and Maisy.

Hayley Perkins,

Exceptionally appointed cottages. The quality and care of the owners is evident throughout. Superb cream tea on arrival, friendly and helpful hosts. Location super for visiting North Devon and Cornwall. Top class!!
Child review: I think that the cottage was very good in terms of view out of the garden, was beautiful and it was handy that there was a big field that we can walk the dogs. There were no complaints from me. Thea

Claire Keech,

Very happy with the cottage; well thought out and spacious. Pool area is fabulous. The only suggestion we would make is that a few steps up onto the grassed area would be really useful. The dogs inevitably jump up there and a step or two would help when it's time to climb up onto the grass to clean up after the dogs. We would certainly recommend to anyone visiting the area. 10/10.
[Thank you for your suggestion. We have now installed steps up to the lawn. R&B]

Paul and Anna Hood,

We enjoyed our stay so much we don't want to go home. Every detail was thought of making a true home from home. Even down to the dog tags! Genius! We cannot wait to re-book for next year. Thank you

The most fantastic stay. Everything was so well thought out, from facilities to layout. The plunge pool is an exciting addition and nothing felt like too much trouble. The guide book is well written and the cream tea a welcome surprise. Thank you for a fantastic stay! 10/10 - look forward to coming again.

Sioned & Jamie, Molly, Margaux & Klaus,

A lovely warm welcome and an added bonus with scones, clotted cream and jam. Lovely accommodation that was clean, warm and cosy. Well equipped and wonderful towels and bathroom!! It was a pleasure to return to after our days out. Ted, our Lakeland Terrier, loved the cottage and many walks he had whilst here. It was ideal for North Devon and Cornish borders. We would highly recommend the fish and chip van plus pizza van. We struggled with our phone signal but hey, we're on holiday!! Thank you for a most enjoyable stay and to to return soon.
P.S. Saw two deer this morning!

Paul and Karen Bull and Ted,

A fabulous, cosy place with all the facilities we needed. Close to everywhere we wanted to visit and I personally love the Devon lanes! The warm and informative welcome was great. We felt perfectly safe here re Covid-19 and wouldn't hesitate to stay again and recommend you to others. Thank you x.

Yvonne Goldsmith,

Thank you for such a lovely stay. We found the cottage to be very comfortable and the accommodation excellent. While we didn't use the shared garden and pool area too much, we thought they were both excellent and if we weren't out and about so much, we would definitely have used them more. Cottages are in a good location for exploring the surrounding area. We would definitely stay again. Many thanks.

Andy & Katy,

Lovely clean cottage, excellent facilities. Comfy beds. No negatives, except we couldn't get the barbecue to work but maybe user error! Hole in the fence discovered by small escape artist. Great stay, would defo recommend!

Katie Macdonald,

Fabulous stay, wonderful setting, great hosts (especially the home cooked cakes). Couldn't have asked for more, will come again soon.

Nina Easton,

Just lovely! It was the little touches that were the "cherry on the top" – the online guide you shared, the dog tags – and the scones! Five star – and well worth the 7 hour drive. Would thoroughly recommend. The pictures we bought will be a great reminder of a great holiday. Thank you!

Alison Williams,

We have enjoyed a thoroughly peaceful and relaxing holiday at Sienna. The attention to detail from the "just from the oven scones" and cream tea to Charlie's ID – very thoughtful. We had a great time exploring locally and catching up with Cornish friends; with the plunge pool and garden to enjoy early evening. Izzy really enjoyed her art lesson and I did too as an observer – very interesting. We will certainly recommend you. Thank you and wishing you every success for the future.

Sue, Paul & Izzy (& Charlie),

Fantastic cottage – thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. Everything immaculate inside and out; amazing attention to detail and lots of little nice touches that made it feel extra special. Lovely welcome and hosting. Also really enjoyed Rob's art workshop – going home feeling inspired. Can't wait to come again! Thank you both so much.

Helen and Mark Preston,

We really enjoyed our stay, everything had been thought of, right down to the flask for tea and coffee. I honestly couldn't think of anything else that could be changed or improved. Thank you so much for your hospitality.

Jenny and Shaun Gee,

We have had the most relaxing, comfortable stay in Sienna. We found everything that we needed and felt very welcome here. It was a pleasure to meet you both and the doggies, of course. Many thanks for the delicious scones onour arrival they were ideal. We feel very chilled having enjoyed such a laid back week in the beautiful countryside. Peace and quiet - sheer BLISS! Many thanks for everything.
