Disabled Access
Gallery Cottages provides an excellent holiday location for people with disabilities or limited mobility. Sienna and Ochre are disabled accessible but not adapted, we understand people's needs may vary so please contact us to discuss your requirements.
Set on a gently sloping site our facilities make it a relaxing and comfortable experience for anyone with plenty of space and great views. The accommodation is single storey and open plan with lots of space, wide internal doors and a wet room. Gallery Cottages offers a great touring location nestled in rural Devon close to the Cornish border. Ideally located within easy driving distance of the North Cornwall and North Devon coastline and beaches and equidistant from Dartmoor, Exmoor and Bodmin Moor.
Local attractions include the wonderful gardens at RHS Rosemoor and Docton Mill Gardens plus Hartland Abbey and the Milky Way to name but a few. We provide more information on accessible attraction in each of our cottages.

Approach to property
Approached via gravel driveway to open hard gravelled yard with turning area. Tarmac driveway with parking for two vehicles area adjacent to property.
Arrival
On arrival you can park directly outside the property to unload. Access to the front door is via two steps or adjacent paved ramp. When unloaded please park in allocated parking space.
Main entrance
The wide front door is wheelchair accessible with two steps up but with disabled ramp to front door on all properties. Portable ramp available for rear French doors. External lighting to front and rear of property with PIR lighting to car park area.
Ground floor
Open plan lounge kitchen diner with polished concrete level floor and wide wheelchair accessible doors. Bathroom is a wet room with ‘walk in’ shower, with outward opening door and easy release lock from outside in case of emergency. A shower stool can be provided for comfort and ease of use for those who may struggle standing for extended periods. There are no stairs in the property.
Grounds and gardens
The grounds and gardens are gently sloping with access to all areas consisting of hard surface driveway and parking, slabbed patio areas and lawned areas.

Nearest rail link is: Barnstaple, Tiverton and Exeter
Nearest bus link is: 200 yards from property at Parsonage Cross, Bradworthy to Bideford
