Local Area Information

Just a short drive from the coast you will be able to enjoy the spectacular towering cliffs, rocky shorelines and long stretches of sandy beaches that the area is famed for. Nearby Westward Ho! offers keen surfers, body boarders and families two miles of golden sands to enjoy, while the quaint fishing villages of Clovelly and Appledore are also worth a visit.

Just over the Cornish border, Bude is large enough to provide a good range of facilities with a choice of great beaches, shops, restaurants and sports facilities, yet it is small enough to retain its Cornish charm.
